PA/NP Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Overview

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for opportunities in the Springfield, MO area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare environment, delivering high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art centers.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.
• Functioning in lieu of or alongside a physician; it is essential to have excellent assessment skills to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

• Daily Volume Bonus: paid monthly based on patient visit metrics met per shift.
• Quarterly Bonus: up to 5% of clinical base salary based upon customer satisfaction scores and quality measures.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Physician Assistants) or Master's Degree (Nurse Practitioners).
• 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required; minimum 18 months in the applicable practice setting.
• Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred.
• National Certification; Active state medical licensure (ANNC or AANP).
• Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room settings; applicable office procedures including suturing and splinting.
