Physical Education Assistant
Job Summary
Assists P.E teacher with rigorous, engaging instruction, aligned to the school's instructional model and driven by the applicable physical education standards. Reinforces school-wide rules, policies, and expectations in and outside of the classroom. This position requires a 7:45 am start time and being able to drive to alternate site one day a week.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicant must be highly qualified as defined in NCLB. Individuals are highly qualified if they have: 1. completed two years of study (48 units) at an institution of higher education; or 2. obtained an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree; or 3. met a rigorous standard of quality and be able to demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to, assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
