General Summary
This P&R Custodial Worker performs responsible, routine work in the cleaning of buildings and grounds in city parks, right-of-way, recreational facilities and the Downtown Mall. Work is performed under the general supervision of a P&R Custodial Supervisor.

- Defined Benefit Pension Plan: Provides a monthly benefit upon retirement, calculated using a defined formula based on earnings history, years of service, and age. The plan includes a 5-year vesting period and requires an employee contribution of 5% of salary.

- Maintains city parks, downtown mall, right-of-way, and/or recreation facilities, by performing a variety of activities which may include but not limited to:
- cleaning buildings and shelters, including bathrooms
- emptying trash cans and trash collection
- cleaning and power washing shelters
- picking up litter
- removing graffiti
- assisting in setting up for events
