Oyster Farm Equipment Operator

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and repair oyster farming equipment and infrastructure
• Tumble, grade, and sort oysters using mechanized equipment
• Accurately stock oysters into grow-out bags for deployment
• Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Wash, sort, and package oysters to fulfill customer orders
• Assist with gear organization, staging, and inventory management
• Perform pressure washing and general maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Contribute positively to team culture and take ownership of assigned tasks

Requirements:

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, rain, cold, and wind
• Ability to lift and carry 50-60 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
• Reliable transportation to Rockport, Texas
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on weather and operational demands

Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

• Comfortable work clothes
• Tennis shoes or sturdy closed-toe shoes
• Clothing appropriate for outdoor work
• Examples: shorts, T-shirt, moisture-wicking or dri-fit shirt
