Responsibilities:

- Assist with daily oyster farming operations including seeding, culling, sorting, and harvesting
- Maintain and repair oyster cages, floats, and other aquaculture equipment
- Operate and maintain boats and watercraft used in farm operations
- Monitor oyster growth, health, and water conditions to ensure optimal yield
- Handle and package harvested oysters for distribution and sale
- Perform general farm maintenance and upkeep of docks and shoreline facilities
- Follow all food safety, shellfish harvesting, and water quality regulations
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfort working on and around water; swimming ability strongly preferred
- Prior experience in aquaculture, commercial fishing, or marine agriculture is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning hours
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment and boat maintenance
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the workday
- Valid driver's license; boating experience or license a bonus
