Prepares for next day business while creating an excellent first impression for the guests of Oxford Collection of hotels while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Administration (60%):Verifying and posting charges to guest accounts if needed, verifying room rates match posting details, and verifying that charges are posted to the correct departmentsComplete all reports generated by RoomKey and distribute them to appropriate departmentsEnsure direct billings are posted to the general ledger timely, including meeting room chargesPerform full system backups and assign wake-up callsPerforms accurate month-end processing, reporting any discrepancies to the property management teamMaintain awareness of room inventory at all timesReport guest incidents to the property management teamAccurately count and manage bank transactions, reporting any discrepancies to managementRun audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service, and the computerMake corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shiftBalance all revenue and settle accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for next day operationsEnter all maintenance issues and requests into the maintenance tracking systemGuest Services (30%):Assist guests with arrival and departure from hotel, including occasional bell or valet assistance as needed, while providing positive guests experiences.Always provide a high level of customer service, taking time with our guests to ensure every aspect of their stay is up to expectationsRegister guests, verify registration details, and manage key controlRespond to guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns, ensuring optimal levels of guest satisfaction and repeat businessProvide information about the hotel, rooms, amenities, packages and promotions in addition to local area offerings and eventsMaintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel informationRemain available to guests at all times at the front deskHandle cash and credit card transactions, process guest accounts upon checkout in an efficient and accurate manner, reporting any discrepancies to property management teamResolve guest issues using our guest recovery methodPromptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication.
