Overpayment Resolution Analyst

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Overpayment Resolution Analyst will manage the analysis and resolution of credit balances, improperly posted payments, and contractual adjustments to ensure accurate patient account records. Key responsibilities Analyze and resolve credit balances and payment discrepancies in patient accounts Investigate accounts through review of system-generated reports, EOBs, and payer remittance advices Request cash corrections, adjustments, or refunds as necessary to maintain accurate account balances Required qualifications High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare setting, or an AA/AS Degree with at least three years of relevant experience Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to read and understand EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) Experience in accounts receivable or revenue cycle management preferred
