Security Agent Luxury Boutique Hotel

Shield Defense Agency LLC is seeking dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented Security Agents to join our team for an upscale boutique hotel assignment.

This position requires an individual who can maintain a strong security presence while interacting professionally with hotel guests, employees, visitors, and management. Hospitality security requires a balance of safety, awareness, professionalism, discretion, and exceptional customer service.

Position Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the property

Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols

Monitor entrances, common areas, and other designated areas

Assist hotel staff with disturbances, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns

Professionally interact with guests, visitors, and hotel employees

De-escalate conflicts and disturbances whenever practical

Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations

Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and other required documentation

Prepare detailed incident reports when necessary

Monitor for unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, and potential safety hazards

Coordinate with hotel management, Shield leadership, law enforcement, fire, and EMS when appropriate

Follow all site-specific post orders and Shield Defense Agency policies

Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times

Required Qualifications

Applicants must:

Be at least 18 years of age

Possess or be able to obtain all required security licensing applicable to the assignment

Possess a valid government-issued photo ID

Have reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Be available to work assigned overnight shifts

Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills

Be able to communicate professionally with hotel guests, employees, management, and members of the public

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Demonstrate sound judgment and strong situational awareness

Be capable of remaining calm and professional during stressful or confrontational situations

Be able to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods

Be able to accurately complete electronic Daily Activity Reports and incident reports

Be able to follow written post orders, policies, procedures, and supervisor instructions

Successfully complete Shield Defense Agency's onboarding and required training

Successfully satisfy applicable background screening and other employment requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Preference may be given to candidates with:

Previous hotel or hospitality security experience

Previous professional security experience

Prior law enforcement, corrections, military, or public-safety experience

Experience working in customer-facing or luxury hospitality environments

Experience with conflict resolution and verbal de-escalation

Experience responding to disturbances, emergencies, or medical incidents

Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification

Training in de-escalation, crisis intervention, mental health awareness, or emergency response

Strong report-writing and documentation skills

Experience using electronic security reporting, patrol, or incident-management systems

Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, special events, and additional shifts

A demonstrated history of reliability, professionalism, and strong customer service

Successful agents will be alert, approachable, respectful, dependable, and prepared to act when necessary, while recognizing that security personnel are also an important part of the overall guest experience.

Schedule

Overnight Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Applicants should have dependable availability for overnight assignments. Additional shifts or hours may become available based on operational needs.
