Onsite Part Time General

Pay: From $18.00 per hour ($2.00 shift differential for hours worked between 11pm and 8am)

Job Description:

We currently hiring staff for Friday- Sunday 10pm-8am awake shift. You work with our women and young children (newborn to age 6). Duties may include but, are not limited to, assist/observe clients in a chemical dependency setting with basic skills; cooking, cleaning, etc. provide support to mothers and children during the night, facilitate/observe urinalysis testing, monitor medication dispensing to both clients and children, complete basic house and office cleaning duties. Bilingual preferred, Spanish or any language!

Start date is ASAP. Staff will work at two sites. We will need the following certifications: CPR, First Aid, Food Handler, TB test and have to pass the Central Background Registry.

Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure the safety of residents and clients during overnight shifts through security checks and surveillance

Assist with intake procedures, data collection, filing, and accurate data entry to maintain comprehensive client records

Respond promptly to emergencies or crises using de-escalation techniques, crisis intervention skills, and first aid or CPR when necessary

Support residents with daily activities, behavioral health needs, and substance use disorder recovery efforts in a respectful manner

Maintain resident confidentiality at all times while documenting incidents and communicating effectively with families and team members

Skills

Supervising experience working with high-risk populations such as homeless individuals, or those with mental health conditions

Strong childcare skills combined with experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations

Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and de-escalation techniques

Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders or behavioral health challenges

Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data collection, client documentation

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively engage clients and collaborate with team members

Ability to manage conflict situations calmly while demonstrating strong behavioral health support skills
