Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a strong background in roofing or exterior building materials to drive growth in the Atlanta market. The ideal candidate will bring deep product knowledge, strong customer relationships, and a proven ability to win new business while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with roofing contractors, builders, and remodelers
* Manage an existing book of business while actively identifying and pursuing new accounts
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, accurate orders, and excellent customer service
* Provide accurate product knowledge and solutions to customers' needs
* Track sales performance, forecasts, and market trends
* Represent the company at industry events, job sites, and trade shows
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, competitor activity, and new product offerings
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in sales within the roofing or building materials industry (distribution experience preferred)
* Proven ability to develop new business and exceed sales targets
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Knowledge of the Atlanta market and customer base
* Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
