Outpatient Dietitian PT REMOTE

Seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to provide nutrition counseling in an outpatient setting. This dietitian must be highly organized and able to work both independently and as a collaborative member of the team. Should know motivational interviewing, enjoy working with clients, and have a passion for nutrition.

Scheduling:
You can create your own schedule; you just have to have a minimum of 16 hours of availability each week.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform nutritional assessments and ongoing medical nutrition therapy/counseling for clients with active eating disorders in individual sessions
• Be familiar with various evidence-based treatment options, and be able to make appropriate referrals as needed
• Stay on top of relevant research and best practices
• Collaborate with an outpatient team of providers (doctors, therapists, etc.)
• Perform various administrative duties (chart notes, client & provider communication, etc.) - basic computer skills required
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Minimum qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
• Strong knowledge of counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavior therapy
