Overview
Northwell Health is seeking a full‑time, Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Outpatient Clinic at Staten Island University Hospital, a 714‑bed teaching institution in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive difficulties.
- Administer evidence‑based psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Prescribe and manage pharmacotherapy for children, adolescents, and young adults.
- Provide training and supervision to child and adolescent psychiatry fellows.
Qualifications
- Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
