Outpatient Cath Coding Specialist

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Outpatient Cath Coding Specialist will work remotely, providing CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for various specialties while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining high accuracy rates. Key responsibilities: Provide coding services for outpatient Cath/IVR cases, ensuring accurate application of diagnosis and procedure codes Interpret coding guidelines and maintain compliance with ethical standards and company policies Participate in ongoing training and maintain productivity and quality scores of 95% or higher Required qualifications: Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience is required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems is essential Must have a reliable internet connection and access to current coding materials
