OutfitterReconCraft is seeking an Outfitter to be responsible for assembling and outfitting newly manufactured vessels. Duties include installation of all parts, equipment, components, hardware, and accessories as part of a vessel manufacturing production line.ResponsibilitiesAssembling/testing of parts using drawings and bills of materialPoint-to-point wiringKnowledge of cable and harness assembly methods including crimping and solderingUsing common hand and power toolsFamiliarity with mechanical assembliesFollowing documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and ensuring proper function of partsMeasurements with calipers, tape measures, various gauges, and other devicesPerforming minor adjustments to tools and equipmentInspection of assembliesRequirementsEducation: High school graduate or GEDRequired Knowledge/Experience: Valid driver's licensePreferred Knowledge/Experience: Recent experience outfitting and assembling vessels or similar systems, installing outboard and inboard motors, installing waterjets, stern drives, and other similar propulsion systems, installing marine electronics, basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, ABYC certifications are a bonusPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs, This position requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing, and visual acuity, Must also be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasksPosition Pay Range $24.55 - $39.98 USDAbout Copper River & The Native Village of Eyak: Owned by the Native Village of Eyak (NVE), a federally recognized Alaska Native Tribe, the Copper River Family of Companies are a collection of entities that deliver a complementary set of solutions and services to support the diverse missions and requirements of our clients.
