Outbound Warehouse SupervisorBilingual Mandarin and English Required, This job requires to communicate with Mandarin speaking team in China.Salary: $60,000.00–$70,000.00 per yearJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Outbound Warehouse Supervisor to join our warehouse team.In this role, you will supervise order selection, staging, loading, and outbound shipping operations. You will lead the outbound team, manage daily workload and staffing, ensure order accuracy and on-time dispatch, and support a safe and organized warehouse environment.The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with solid organizational and problem-solving skills, comfortable managing a team in a fast-paced warehouse setting. We welcome candidates who enjoy leading teams, driving process improvement, and building efficient outbound operations.Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Workforce ManagementLead, train, coach, and schedule the outbound team, including order pickers, loaders, and forklift operators.Assign daily workload and staffing based on outbound order volume and shipping schedules.Monitor daily performance metrics, including order pick rate, on-time load/ship rate, and dispatch accuracy.Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, safety reminders, workload priorities, and team assignments.Address attendance, performance, and workflow issues in a timely and professional manner.Order Fulfillment & Dispatch OperationsSupervise the selection, staging, and loading of outbound orders across LTL/FTL, parcel, and container shipments.Ensure outbound orders are verified against pick lists, packing slips, and Bills of Lading prior to dispatch.Oversee use of Warehouse Management Systems and RF scanners to track and record outbound inventory.Coordinate carrier pickups, trailer scheduling, and dispatch planning to meet daily ship-out targets.Review outbound discrepancies — shortages, overages, or damages — and report to the supply chain and customer service teams.Serve as the primary point of contact with carriers and transportation partners on scheduling, appointment windows, and delays.Inventory & Space ManagementPartner with inbound and inventory control teams to prioritize outbound fulfillment for seasonal, high-volume, or time-sensitive orders.Oversee staging area organization and trailer loading plans to maximize space utilization and prevent dock congestion.Monitor outbound workflow and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency.Safety & ComplianceEnforce OSHA requirements and company safety protocols throughout the outbound area.Ensure safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment by outbound staff.Conduct routine checks of shipping docks, dock levelers, staging areas, and warehouse equipment.Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.Report safety concerns, equipment issues, near-misses, or warehouse incidents to management in a timely manner.QualificationsProfessional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required.3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center operations.1–2 years of supervisory, team lead, or floor leadership experience preferred.Experience in e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL, distribution centers, or cross-border logistics is highly preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required.College education is preferred.Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.Forklift certification or OSHA-related safety training is preferred.Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and walk the warehouse floor for extended periods to oversee operations.
