Description
OTR Drivers transport product between plants throughout the southeast and midwest regions. This position typically earns approximately $1,900/week ($98,900 annually). CDL drivers are eligible to earn a $5,000 sign-on bonus and bi-annual safety bonuses.
* Deliver product to required destinations.
* Perform pre-trip inspections.
* Ensure safety of loads.
* Maintain proper documentation.
* Comply with established company fueling procedures.
* Communicate with dispatchers.
* Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness at all times.
* Comply with all DOT, company, biosecurity, FSMA, local, state and federal laws, policies, practices and procedures.
* Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Class A CDL required. 1+ year of verifiable commercial driving experience. Clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours, days and holidays Promptness, dependability and good communication skills.
Physical Requirements
* Sit and drive for up to 10 hours.
* Regularly climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift.
* Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis.
* Occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
* Work around raw, live animal odors.
