Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Otolaryngologist to join a collegial group in Fargo, ND. This role involves providing comprehensive medical and surgical care to patients of all ages with head and neck disorders, including oncology and reconstructive surgery. Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit patients (if applicable to setting)
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide consultation on comprehensive medical and surgical care to patients of all ages presenting with diseases, deformities, or disorders of the head and neck that affects the ears, nose, throat, respiratory and upper alimentary systems, and related structures of the head and neck
- Perform head and neck oncology procedures
- Perform facial plastic reconstructive surgery
- Treat disorders of hearing and voice

Shift & Schedule
- Proposed schedule of 2 weeks per month (182 shifts)
- Flexibility offered in structure of scheduling
- Full time Hospital/ER coverage, with some minor outpatient surgery
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Otolaryngology residency accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
- Demonstrate at least 50 otolaryngology procedures in the last 12 months (for applicants not directly out of residency or without a quality profile)
