Job Title: ENT
Location: Ephrata, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $277 - $298/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ENT for a temporary assignment in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ENT:
• Work clinic hours 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch) with OT shifts from 7:30 AM - 3:30 or 4:00 PM
• Cover 5 OR days per month and 7 clinic days per month
• Provide care for patients of all ages including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Manage clinic volume of approximately 26-27 patients per day
• Assist with approximately 6 outpatient surgeries per day in the OR setting
• Work within a clinic and hospital (OR) practice setting
• Perform general ENT procedures and related clinical duties
• Demonstrate comfort and proficiency with parathyroid, Cochlear, and Baha procedures (preferred)
• Collaborate with support staff including medical assistants and clinical support assistants
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain active PA license or IMLC/LOQ
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Hold Board Certification or be Board Eligible
• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable specialty or setting
• Complete all credentialing and compliance requirements within the established 60-day credentialing timeframe
• Ensure full compliance documentation is submitted 2 weeks prior to start date
• Submit Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results within 5 days of signed agreement
• Schedule Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection within required timeframe
• Meet all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
