Otolaryngologist

Hartford HealthCare is seeking an Otolaryngologist with an interest in General ENT to join their team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, a 122-bed general acute care community hospital located in Litchfield County, CT. The position offers an opportunity to join a well-established practice with reasonable call schedules and involvement in teaching and research. Candidates will work within a growing, physician-led healthcare system known for its comprehensive services and supportive environment.

• Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, a 122-bed, general acute care community hospital located in Litchfield County and the beautiful Northwest Hills of CT
• Well-established practice which includes 2 full time providers and an audiologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and diagnostic assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform surgical procedures as required, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
• Provide follow-up care to patients, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care strategies.
• Participate in medical education by mentoring residents and medical students in clinical practice.
• Engage in research initiatives to advance the field of otolaryngology and improve patient outcomes.

Shift & Schedule

• Reasonable call for work/life balance - Telephone coverage only, no need to come on site after office hours

Requirements

• Successful candidates will be BE/BC in Otolaryngology
