Join The Ot Systems TeamSupport a beverage manufacturing facility in Columbia, SC. Help keep the plant's automation and operational technology systems running while partnering with the team on troubleshooting, system improvements, and projects.This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. Some days you'll solve production issues on the plant floor; others you'll work on upgrades and projects that make the plant run better.
It's a great opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys learning new technology and solving problems.ResponsibilitiesSupport and troubleshoot OT systems, including MES, OEE, PLC, SCADA and HMI platforms.Provide hands-on support to the automation team and help resolve production issues, with escalation paths to senior engineers.Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to prevent future issues.Support system upgrades and plant-requested changes.Work across both legacy and modern manufacturing systems.Partner with operations and plant teams to explain technical issues in clear, easy-to-understand language.Balance project work with day-to-day production support.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who enjoys learning, solving problems, and figuring things out. They are looking for someone with curiosity, initiative, and a strong desire to grow.Required1–4 years of experience in controls, OT, automation, IT or engineering within manufacturing.Exposure to PLCs, SCADA, HMI or similar control systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Willingness to work hands-on, on the plant floor, in a production environment.Able to communicate technical information in simple terms.Nice to HaveExperience with MES, OEE or other manufacturing systems.Exposure to OT/IT infrastructure or systems integration.
