OT Network Analyst IIImpulse Strategic Solutions is seeking an OT Network Analyst II to support the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and security of operational technology (OT) network environments across industrial and critical infrastructure settings. This role is ideal for a network professional with 1–5 years of experience and some exposure to OT or industrial environments such as energy, oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing, or similar sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a solid networking foundation, a willingness to learn OT security and industrial networking concepts, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

The OT Network Analyst II will assist with supporting network infrastructure that connects industrial control systems, field devices, SCADA environments, and related operational platforms. This position will play an important role in maintaining secure, stable, and reliable connectivity across OT environments while supporting projects, change activities, commissioning efforts, and onsite operational needs.Key Responsibilities:Support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of OT network environmentsAssist with configuring and supporting network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN connectivityMaintain and troubleshoot core networking components such as IP addressing, VLANs, routing, segmentation, and firewall rulesSupport secure connectivity between IT and OT environments while following approved segmentation and access control practicesAssist with network deployments, upgrades, commissioning activities, and onsite infrastructure supportCollaborate with operations, engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to support industrial network reliability and performanceParticipate in incident response, root cause analysis, and issue remediation for OT network-related eventsHelp document network diagrams, configurations, standards, inventories, and support proceduresSupport vulnerability mitigation, patch coordination, and compliance initiatives within OT environmentsContribute to implementation efforts aligned with OT security and architecture best practicesRequired Qualifications:1–5 years of experience in networking or infrastructure support, ideally with some exposure to OT or industrial environments such as energy, oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing, or related sectorsStrong foundation in networking concepts, including: IP addressing, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, basic network segmentationCCNA requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWillingness and ability to travel up to 25% for onsite support, deployment, and commissioning activitiesPreferred Qualifications:CCNP preferredExposure to OT, ICS, or industrial network environmentsFamiliarity with SCADA, HMI, and industrial communications environmentsUnderstanding of the Purdue Model and its application in OT network architectureFamiliarity with industry standards and frameworks such as: ISA/IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF)Experience supporting highly available, secure, and regulated operational environmentsKey Skills and Competencies:Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilitiesAbility to prioritize issues in operationally sensitive environmentsComfortable working across cross-functional teamsDetail-oriented with strong documentation habitsAble to balance security, uptime, and operational requirements in industrial settingsEagerness to learn and grow within OT networking and cybersecurityWork Environment:This role may include a mix of office, remote, plant, field, and client-site work depending on project and operational needs.
