As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering rehabilitative care to patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and exercises.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments as needed.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy.
• Participate in required meetings and trainings, and support students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and State Required practice acts and ethics.

Requirements:

• Need 1 year experience in setting
• LTC or Rehab Experience
• Active COTA license
