To support the expansion of fiber optic services, the full-time OSP Project Engineer will plan and prepare construction drawings for overhead and underground links, ensuring optimal utilization of communications facilities while collaborating with various teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and draft construction designs using CAD and manual processes
- Provide real-time direction to colleagues to meet project timelines and contractual obligations
- Collaborate with Sales to develop tailored design solutions for potential customers
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical experience in OSP Engineering, Construction, or Operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA rules, National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and telecommunications regulations
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with CAD software
- Experience in fiber and telecommunications industry standards and technologies
