Orthopedics Service Coordinator/Registered Nurse - OR - F/T Days

Responsible for all aspects of patient care from pre-procedure through post-procedure phase.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a Preceptor for new staff members, supporting training and facilitating onboarding.
• Functions as scrub or circulator in the OR, maintaining up-to-date preference cards and reviewing with physicians.
• Reviews and monitors environmental surveillance, sterilization logs, and waste disposal to ensure compliance.
• Establishes and maintains inventory control for supplies, ensuring availability and functionality.
• Provides quality perioperative patient care, performing assessments and documentation according to standards.
• Maintains a safe environment adhering to safety principles and aseptic techniques.
• Leads room turnover procedures, ensuring quick and efficient utilization of OR areas.
• Manages recruitment, development, and supervision of team members, fostering engagement and performance evaluation.
• Participates in financial management, monitoring budgets and performance metrics.
• Tracks and reports data, recommending process improvements.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned, including administrative call rotation.

Qualifications

• BSN within three years of employment.
• Minimum 5 years OR experience, with teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team with scrub and circulator skills, and excellent communication skills.

Licenses and Certifications

• NJ Licensed Registered Nurse

Starting annual salary: $106,329.60. Benefits include health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement.
