  • Call Schedule: October 13 at 7:00 AM through October 16 at 7:00 AM
  • Shift: 24-hour call
  • Call Type: Beeper
  • Call Response Time: 20 minutes
  • On-Call Requirement: Provider must remain within 20 minutes of the hospital at all times while on call
License & Credentialing
  • Board Certification: Required
  • North Carolina Medical License: Active NC license - Required
  • North Carolina DEA: Required; must have an NC address
  • Required Certifications:
    • ABLS
    • ACLS
    • ATLS
    • BLS
    • PALS
Clinical Details
  • Specialty: General Orthopedic Surgery

  • Patient Volume: Varies
  • Consults: Approximately 0-3 per day
  • ED Visits: Approximately 0-2 per day for closed reductions and admissions
  • Surgeries: Approximately 0-2 per day

    • Wrist fractures
    • Ankle fractures
    • Hip fractures
    • Incision and drainage (I&D)
  • Trauma: Long-bone trauma is stabilized and transferred
