Orthopedics Physician

Join our healthcare team as a locum tenens orthopedic surgeon at a busy hospital in Clinton, NC. You'll have the opportunity to perform a range of orthopedic surgeries and manage trauma cases within a supportive setting. This position includes 24-hour call coverage from October 13 at 7 AM to October 16 at 7 AM, and you'll have the chance to work with state-of-the-art technology in a dynamic environment.

• Weekly direct deposit

• Provide general orthopedic surgery care
• Manage consults and emergency department visits
• Perform surgeries including wrist, ankle, and hip fractures, and I&Ds
• Stabilize long bone trauma for transfer
• Remain on-call and within 20 minutes of the facility at all times

• Must be Board Certified
• Active NC medical license and DEA (NC address required)
• Must be vaccinated
• Credentialed with Medicaid/Medicare and enrolled with PECOS
• Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS

• 24-hour on-call coverage from October 13, 7 AM to October 16, 7 AM

• Competency in arthroscopy, total joint replacements, and joint revisions
• Ability to perform hand surgery, tendon release/repair, and peripheral nerve surgery
• Experience with instrumentation and percutaneous disc surgery for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions
