- Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
- Active and unrestricted North Carolina medical license
- Active North Carolina DEA registered to a North Carolina address
- Current ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
- Current Medicaid and Medicare credentialing
- Active PECOS enrollment
- Required vaccination status
- Ability to remain within 20 minutes of the hospital while on call
- NPI number required with presentation Clinical Details
- Provide general Orthopedic Surgery call coverage
- Evaluate Emergency Department and inpatient consultations
- Perform closed reductions and admit patients when indicated
- Treat wrist, ankle, and hip fractures
- Perform incision and drainage procedures
- Stabilize long-bone trauma for transfer
- Required scope includes arthroscopy, joint replacement and revision, hand surgery, tendon repair, peripheral nerve surgery, and spine procedures
- No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
