Orthopedic Express Clinic Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Rapid City, SD Full-Time Orthopedic Clinic No OR Requirement 32.8 HoursAn orthopedic express clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide musculoskeletal and orthopedic care in a physician-supervised clinic setting.Opportunity Highlights:

  • Orthopedic Express Clinic APP role
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage orthopedic and musculoskeletal patients
  • Manage selected at-risk or complex patients in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
  • Order appropriate tests, procedures, and therapies in collaboration with medical staff
  • May perform procedures within scope of practice
  • No operating room requirement
  • No ED or unassigned call requirement
  • May share in practice call requirements
  • Complete thorough and timely documentation
  • Provide appropriate referrals or patient transfers when needed
  • Regular full-time position with 32.8 scheduled weekly hours

  • Candidate Requirements:
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • South Dakota Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification required
  • 1+ year of clinical experience preferred
  • 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
  • Orthopedic, urgent care, emergency medicine, sports medicine, or musculoskeletal experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable evaluating acute orthopedic concerns, ordering imaging, and coordinating referrals or transfers when appropriate
