Health Care System which includes a team of Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeons seek to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant. The Physician Assistant will work directly with a Sports Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon both in the OR and the clinic. This is a very busy sport and general orthopedic practice. Doctors utilize the most minimally invasive procedures and advanced technology. Responsibilities include: first assist, running clinics, pre- and post-operative H&P s, joint injections, writing scripts, removing casts and pins, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. The position offers a very good work/life balance with minimal call.
Successful Physician Assistant should be PANCE-Certified, and the doctors prefer some orthopedic clinic and OR experience. New graduates are welcome to apply if they have completed an orthopedic rotation and are from the region.
