Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician - Surgery - Hand for Short term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient facility
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from 10/20/2026 to 10/22/2026
This assignment includes Inpatient, Emergency Room and 24-hour call coverage, emergency department and transfer center calls for hand injuries, and on call weekend or no on call or weekend.

Locum Physician - Surgery - Hand Lakewood, CO

Shift: 24-hour call coverage, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Start Date: 10/20/2026
End Date: 10/22/2026 and Ongoing
Position Details: Hand Surgery call coverage
Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
Setting: Inpatient, Emergency Room, Call Trauma Level I
Responsibilities: Cover emergency department and transfer center calls, typically related to hand injuries
Required Procedures: Hand surgery procedures; reimplantation is not performed at this facility
EMR System: EPIC
Days Per Month: Ongoing dates will be released as schedules are made
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call; all shifts end the following morning at 7:00 AM

• Board Certified Surgery of the Hand and completion of Hand Surgery Fellowship
• Active Colorado License or Active IMLC with LOQ in hand
• Active DEA required for credentialing
• Clean Malpractice/Background and self-inquiry NPDB report preferred
