Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
Join a physician-led organization in Glendale, AZ, as a Fellowship-Trained Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon. This role offers predictable scheduling and strong clinical support, allowing you to focus on exceptional patient care within a hospital-based setting. You will work in a Level II Trauma Center alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma team, providing a balanced mix of operative and non-operative trauma care.

Responsibilities
- Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
- Participate in trauma call coverage
- Manage a broad range of fracture care and orthopedic injuries
- Collaborate with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalist, and rehabilitation teams
- Balance surgical cases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic responsibilities
- Ensure timely documentation and high-quality patient care
Compensation
- Generous (above market) hourly rate
- All travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rate

Shift & Schedule
- 183 shifts annually (24-hour shifts)
- Blocked scheduling with 7-day stretches

Requirements
- BE or BC in Orthopedic Surgery
- Completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship preferred
- Experience managing orthopedic trauma patients in a hospital-based setting
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
- Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
