Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible orthopedic trauma surgeon to join its outstanding orthopedic trauma and acute care team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a comprehensive regional tertiary care and ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, supported by a dedicated team and resources. Practice Info
- Part of an outstanding orthopedic trauma and acute care team of three other surgeons
- Supported by a general trauma service, allied health professionals, plastic surgery, hand and pediatric orthopedic surgery onsite coverage, well-trained specialists, hospitalists, and nursing staff
- Orthopedic trauma program complements the general orthopedic practice
- Dedicated Orthopedic Trauma OR 7 days a week - with PA/NP coverage
- Regional Tertiary Care and ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center
- Referral center for a patient population of 500,000 in the northern two-thirds of the state's geography
Compensation
- $719,000 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity

Requirements
- BC/BE orthopedic trauma surgeon
