We are seeking a full-time Orthopedic Trauma Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistant to join a busy, collaborative orthopedic trauma program ata Level III Trauma Center serving south-central Idaho. This is an outstandingopportunity to work alongside experienced orthopedic trauma surgeons, providingcomprehensive inpatient, emergency department, operative, and follow-up care.
Position Highlights
- Schedule: 175 ten-hourshifts per year
- No Nights
- Hours: 6:30 AM – 4:30PM

Responsibilities
- Evaluate andmanage orthopedic trauma patients in the emergency department andinpatient setting.
- Round daily onhospitalized orthopedic trauma patients.
- First assistorthopedic trauma surgeons in the operating room.
- Perform fracturemanagement, splinting, casting, wound care, dressing changes, andpostoperative care.
- Participate in adedicated orthopedic trauma follow-up clinic.
- Coordinatepatient care with emergency medicine, trauma surgery, rehabilitation,nursing, and case management.
- Educate patientsand families on treatment plans and recovery.

- Pelvic andacetabular fractures
- Upper and lowerextremity fractures
- Hand injuries
- Routinepediatric fractures
Qualifications
- Graduate of anaccredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current oreligible Idaho NP or PA license.
- NCCPAcertification (PA) or national NP certification.
- Orthopedictrauma or surgical experience preferred.
- New graduateswith a strong interest in orthopedic surgery are encouraged to apply.
- Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills.
