AdventHealth Medical Group East Florida is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in upper extremity surgery to join their growing orthopedic program in Palm Coast, Florida, with shared clinic time at their new St. Augustine location. This is an exceptional opportunity to build a busy practice focused on disorders of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand in one of Florida's fastest-growing coastal regions. Backed by a strong referral network, collaborative orthopedic colleagues, advanced surgical technology, and a physician-led health system, this role offers the resources needed to develop a successful long-term practice.

Practice Info

  • Hospital-employed position with AdventHealth Medical Group
  • Practice focused on the evaluation and treatment of shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions
  • Shared outpatient clinic schedule between AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway and the new AdventHealth St. Augustine location
  • Established referral network from primary care physicians and specialty providers
  • Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider support for clinic, hospital, and surgical care
  • Epic EMR utilized throughout the health system

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat a broad range of shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions, including carpal tunnel syndrome, hand and wrist pain, osteoarthritis, fractures, rotator cuff injuries, shoulder impingement syndrome, joint inflammation, stiffness, and other musculoskeletal disorders
  • Maintain a shared clinic schedule between AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway and the new AdventHealth St. Augustine location
  • Perform upper extremity procedures including carpal tunnel decompression, fracture care, joint and bursa injections, and specialized hand/wrist surgical procedures

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (ABMS or AOA)
  • Expertise in upper extremity orthopedic surgery
  • Experience evaluating and treating shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions
  • Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure
  • Excellent communication and collaborative practice skills
