Orthopedic Surgeon - Total Joint

Valley Baptist Physician Network is seeking a Hip and Joint Surgeon to join an established, multi-specialty group in Harlingen/Brownsville, Texas. This full-time position offers a high-impact opportunity to shape orthopedic care within a 586-bed Level II Trauma Center equipped with advanced surgical technology. Practice Info

• Operate within a 586-bed Level II Trauma Center
• Access to advanced surgical technology including da Vinci robotic systems, Brainlab computer navigation, and AIRO mobile intraoperative CT
• Dedicated Ortho/Trauma floor at Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen
• Ortho Trauma provider on staff for VBMC coverage
• Office located in the Medical Office Building with walking-distance access to the hospital OR
• Potential for privileges at sister facility in Brownsville

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time employment
• Flexible schedule: 2-3 days per week split between clinic and OR block time
• Clinic hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• 70/30 inpatient/outpatient case mix
• Estimated 3-5 call days per month, inclusive of general ortho call

Requirements

• MD or DO
• J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship available
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Hip & Joint reconstruction preferred; extensive clinical experience considered
• Trauma Certification a plus
