Sanford Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join its multi-specialty group at Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a leading Orthopedic and Sports Medicine program, including potential involvement as a team physician for a NCAA Division II university. The ideal candidate will possess general orthopedic skills to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal disorders and injuries, with a focus on growing a sports medicine practice.

Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and provide pre-, intra-, and postoperative care
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and treat a variety of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries
- Grow a sports medicine practice

Requirements
- No visa sponsorship available
- BE/BC Orthopedic surgeon
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated orthopedic surgical residency program or a clinical Fellowship of at least five years' duration accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency
- Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- For those applicants that are not board certified at the time of application, but who have completed their residency training within the last five years; must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their residency training unless appropriate governing Board waives such requirement
- Experience to diagnose and treat a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, injuries, and grow a sports medicine practice (ideal candidate)
- Ability to demonstrate at least 200 orthopedic surgery procedures in the last 24 months (if not applying directly out of residency or fellowship)
