Orthopedic Surgeon

Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeons to join their growing team. Practice Info

• Expected work schedule is Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with ½ day administrative time, block OR schedule.
• Call is no more than 10 days per month.
• Current daily clinic volume is 15-20 patients per day.
• Outreach to local communities near Santa Fe, NM and Clovis, NM.
• System-Wide EPIC EMR.
• 3 Exam rooms per physician in Clovis, NM with a clinical support structure including 1 RN Clinical Manager, 1 RN, 1 LPN, and 2 MA’s.

Responsibilities

• Perform general orthopedic procedures.
• Collaborate and work in a team environment.
• Provide general orthopedic procedures; preferred experience with anterior hip replacements (Espanola & Santa Fe, NM).

Compensation

• Nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available.
• Salary Range: $550,000 - $700,000 a year.
• Base Salary with Production upside.
• CME allowance.
• Fully paid malpractice insurance.
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility.
• National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program, offering up to $75,000 in tax-free loan repayment for a two-year service commitment.
• New Mexico Physician Tax Credit of up to $10,000 per year.
• New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program, offering up to $75,000 per year in loan assistance with a required service commitment.

Requirements

• BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeons.
• Ability to perform general orthopedic procedures.
• Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice.
• Patient-focused.
• Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico.
• H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available.
