Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join a newly established orthopedic practice in Dickinson, a progressive community serving as a regional hub for over 100,000 people. This role offers the opportunity to work in a newly built "Super Clinic" with a Same Day Surgery Center, supported by a large referral area across western North Dakota, eastern Montana, and northern South Dakota. The position is ideal for generalists and fellowship-trained surgeons looking to contribute to a growing healthcare system with a research and innovation culture.

Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and provide pre-, intra-, and postoperative care
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures for patients of all ages

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated orthopedic surgical residency program or a clinical Fellowship of at least five years' duration accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency
- Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- For those applicants that are not board certified at the time of application, but who have completed their residency training within the last five years; must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their residency training unless appropriate governing Board waives such requirement
- Ability to demonstrate at least 200 orthopedic surgery procedures in the last 24 months (for applicants not applying directly out of a residency)
