Practice Info
- Inpatient and call coverage only; no clinic responsibilities
- Must take all inbound call inquiries related to the facility
- Patient population: all ages
- Average daily census: 10–20 across both locations
- EMR: Epic Enterprise
- Facility trauma level: Level III
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical exams, admitting, evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and consulting on orthopedic conditions
- Manage musculoskeletal conditions including trauma, infections, tumors, deformities, and degenerative diseases
- Care for orthopedic patients across all age groups
- Assess, stabilize, and determine disposition of emergent orthopedic cases

Requirements
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active Iowa license or active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)
- Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Surgery
- Clean malpractice and background history
