Orthopedic Surgeon - Hand & Elbow

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hand and Elbow Surgery to join their orthopedic service line in Sacramento, CA. This role involves providing comprehensive care for a wide range of hand, wrist, and elbow conditions, including trauma, degenerative disease, sports injuries, and complex reconstructive procedures. The successful candidate will collaborate with sports medicine, shoulder and elbow, and rehabilitation specialists in a highly integrated environment.

Practice Info

• Multi-specialty medical group comprised of over 1,600 clinicians practicing in seven counties in northern California, most within a 50-mile radius of Sacramento
• Clinicians include primary care and specialty Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians (nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, licensed clinical social workers, and licensed marriage and family therapists)
• Clinicians are actively engaged in teaching, research, leadership, community outreach, and volunteer work
• Has earned both local and national recognition for excellence in patient care and experience

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for a wide spectrum of hand, wrist, and elbow conditions including trauma, degenerative disease, sports-related injuries, and complex reconstructive procedures
• Collaborate with sports medicine, shoulder and elbow, and rehabilitation specialists

Compensation

• $650,000 - $750,000 /Yr.
• Sign-on bonus

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Hand Surgery
• Expertise in hand, wrist, and elbow conditions
• CAQ in Surgery of the Hand or eligibility preferred
• Strong commitment to multidisciplinary care
