About this role

As an Orthopedic Surgeon, part of the Musculoskeletal (MSK) team at Intermountain Health, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you can expect to work at Cassia Regional Hospital; seeing a mix of OR and in‑office orthopedic surgical patients.

Join a growing MSK team at Cassia Regional Hospital, supported by a newly redesigned Orthopedic clinic and state‑of‑the‑art facility built to enhance clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient outcomes. Currently, the MSK team is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon that is fellowship trained in Sports Medicine to join a collegial department of Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatry and Sports Medicine providers.

In this role, you can anticipate

  • A sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable)
  • 2 days per week in clinic, dedicated in‑office and 2 days OR surgical time
  • Orthopedic call requirement, 10 days per month
  • Some patient‑preferred hours will be required

What you’ll bring

  • Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree; or equivalent if education is completed outside the United States
  • Completion of graduate fellowship medical education training program in Orthopedic Surgery with a CAQ board certification in Sports Medicine
  • Graduate education must be obtained through an ACGME or AOA accredited institution
  • ABMS or equivalent AOA Board Certification in the specialty(s) or subspecialty(s) of practice
  • Fellowship in Orthopedics Sports Medicine and completion of CAQ
  • Active Medical Licensure, or in process of obtaining licensure, is required in the state in which physician will practice
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • DEA Registration schedules II-V
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
  • We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time

Work details

Location: Intermountain Health Cassia Regional Hospital, Burley, Idaho

Scheduled weekly hours: 40

Hourly rate: $7.25 - $999.99 (actual rate dependent upon experience)
