Responsibilities
- 1st assist? Assisting Orthopaedic and spine surgeons in the OR
- Be part of a team with seven existing PA/NP providers already tied to current physicians
- Support may include hospital rounding if negotiated and requested
Work Details
- Hours/Shifts/Weekends/Call: Primarily Monday to Friday OR times; normally no weekends or calls, but may be reviewed during interview with a particular Dr if additional assistance is desired
- EMR: Hospital EMR
- Patients per day: Primarily for OR; varies based on OR schedule. Not planning to have in-clinic visits unless negotiated
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation Range: Based on experience – 115K for 2 years Orthopaedics, 120K for 2 years Spine-specific
- Bonus structure: Productivity-based incentives
- Relocation allowance / Sign-on for the right candidate: Yes
- Full-time / with benefits: Yes
Candidate Considerations
- Open to local solid recent grads? Not likely, unless they have solid Orthopaedic primary experience. (105K range for new grads)
