Position Overview
As a key clinical partner, you will work directly with orthopedic and spine surgeons across both surgical and outpatient settings, playing a vital role in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist orthopedic surgeons in surgical procedures and clinical evaluations
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to guide clinical decisions
- Provide detailed patient education on post-operative care and rehabilitation
- Manage follow-ups and monitor recovery progression
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
- Engage in continuous professional development and training
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active New York State PA license and NCCPA certification
- Minimum 2 years orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
