Practice Info
- Practice locations: Abrazo West Campus Hospital and West ASMC Clinic
- Dedicated OR access at both a hospital and ambulatory surgery center
- Average clinic volume: 20-25 patients per clinic day
- Full clinical scope - surgical and non-surgical care for the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow, including both elective and trauma cases
- Advanced microsurgical capabilities including microvascular reconstruction, free tissue transfer, and complex limb salvage
- Onsite U-Arm X-ray and high-resolution exam room monitors
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical and non-surgical care for the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow, including both elective and trauma cases
- Perform advanced microsurgical techniques including microvascular reconstruction, free tissue transfer, and complex limb salvage
- Participate in call rotation approximately 1 week per month, shared among group partners
- Collaborate with certified hand therapists and multidisciplinary teams

Shift & Schedule
- Full-time employed position
- 2-3 OR days and 2-3 clinic days per week
- Call rotation: approximately 1 week per month, shared among group partners
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
- Completion of a Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery fellowship
- BE or BC by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS)
- Subspecialty certification or eligibility in Surgery of the Hand
- Experience with microsurgical techniques for vessel and nerve repair
- Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
