Orthopedic Surgery PA for St Mary's of Nazareth- Chicago

Location: St. Mary's of Nazareth- Chicago Job Type: Full-Time Prime Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our growing Surgery Clinic team . This is a rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a well-established outpatient setting. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1 year’s experience seeing patients in the clinic setting and serving as a 1st assist in the operating room.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time position in Orthopedic surgery.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience.
  • Serve as 1st Assist in operating room.
  • Monday–Friday schedule with no call responsibility.
  • Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff.
  • Manage your own patient panel with opportunities for continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • Licensed and certified as Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Illinois.
  • Prior experience in general surgery preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $110,000.00 to $125,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
