OMP Orthopaedic team seek team-oriented Orthopaedic Surgicalist to provide hospital and ER-based emergency call and follow-up services for this Level III Trauma facility. Highlights of the practice include:*--This on-call position is supported by first-call response by orthopaedic PA-C or ARNP.**--Integrated electronical healthcare record system (EPIC) with local and regional hospital systems**--Robust orthopaedic clinic system for patient follow-up*The successful Orthopaedic Surgicalist at OMP is focused on providing excellent person-centered care to rural patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This position is a 0.85 full-time equivalent position.***EDUCATION**** Medical degree from an accredited school required.* Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in orthopaedic surgery.* Successful completion of requirements of the ABOS board for certification in orthopaedic surgery.* Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.***EXPERIENCE**** Completion of orthopaedic surgery residency.* Two or more years of practice in orthopaedic trauma surgery preferred.***LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS**** Board certified or active participant in the examination process leading to certification (specialty) and area of sub-specialty (if any).
