Responsibilities
- Diagnose, prevent, and treat orthodontic conditions for patients of all ages
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing:
- Traditional braces
- Clear aligners
- Other orthodontic appliances
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on treatment options, oral health, and expected outcomes
- Collaborate with general dentists and dental specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records
- Deliver exceptional patient experiences while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency programActive North Carolina dental license (or ability to obtain)
- Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthodontics preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with Invisalign® or other clear aligner therapy is preferred but not required
