Orthodontic Insurance Specialist

Focusing on resolving outstanding insurance balances, the full-time Orthodontic Insurance AR Specialist will research unpaid claims, follow up with insurance carriers, and reconcile payments while working remotely. Key responsibilities Review outstanding and past-due orthodontic insurance claims to identify reasons for non-receipt of payments Follow up with insurance carriers to research claim and payment status, submitting and resubmitting claims as necessary Reconcile insurance payments and make account adjustments to ensure accuracy of patient and insurance balances Required qualifications 2+ years of orthodontic insurance experience required Experience with orthodontic practice management software such as Dolphin, Cloud 9, Ortho2, OrthoTrac, or TOPS preferred Strong understanding of dental or orthodontic insurance processes, including claim submission and payment processing Ability to navigate multiple systems and insurance carrier websites efficiently Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
