Opportunity to accumulate overtime.Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities1.

Process all Certifications and Medical Orders using the computer tracking system for outgoing and incoming orders in Kinnser2. Responsible to meet Agency, State and Federal deadlines for obtaining physician signature of medical orders and will follow up with providers to insure return of delinquent medical orders3. Triage medical order help desk phone calls and email requests. Medical order functions including: filing, computer input, printing, and mail processing4. Cross train with HIM specialist; cover defined tasks within each function as needed5. Perform other duties as assigned.Follow written and routine delivery instructions.Utilize Google Maps to map routes efficiently.Follow direction and complete tasks with little to no supervision.Work with the EMR system to locate physician information.Comfortable driving company vehicle, for long periods of time in various conditions.Practice safe driving habits, following all traffic rules and regulations.Must be honest, reliable and hardworking.Must have a great attitude and effective communication skills with coworkers, management and referral sources.If needed, available for overtime.6. Works with members of the billing team to ensure that managed care customers are billed according to Case Manager agreements.7. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential physicians8. Assists in building community, customer, payer and patient perceptions of Compassionate Care Home Health Agency as a high quality provider of services.The above statements are intended to be a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
