Order Transcriptionist (Remote – Epic / Order Entry)

Order TranscriptionistWe are seeking an Order Transcriptionist to support a hospital system in a fully remote capacity. This role will focus on receiving, reviewing, and accurately entering physician orders into Epic, ensuring all documentation is complete and processed in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities:Monitor incoming fax queue and electronic order systems throughout the dayReview and validate physician orders for accuracy and completenessTranscribe and enter orders into Epic (or similar EMR)Upload and attach order documentation to the appropriate patient recordsCommunicate with internal teams to clarify or resolve incomplete or missing order informationEnsure orders are processed in a timely manner to avoid delays in patient careMaintain accurate documentation and follow compliance standardsAnswer inbound calls and doing some scheduling/patient registration
